From the 29th of November to the 1st of December Wrocław Model United Nations took place. For 3 days, we discussed and debated matters of global importance and came to exceptional solutions to their problems. The delegates from all around the world had to put aside their personal beliefs and take on the role of countries they represent. The conference started with the opening ceremony which was held at the SWPS University

After the ceremony, we went on to their respectable rooms where they debated for nearly 8 hours. Of course, our conscientiousness and devotion were rewarded handsomely by the social event that took place the same day. The atmosphere was light and friendly and everyone enjoyed themselves a lot. The next day we continued on with our debates with no less enthusiasm and twice as much motivation. After another day of hard work and commitment we were invited to another social event, which we left with new acquittances, and hopefully longtime friendships.

During the last day the air was filled with sadness as the conference was nearing its end. It is safe to say however, that the last day of the conference was just as productive as the other two. Committees were finishing their work on the crisis resolutions – which were both inventive and unexpected.

The conference was concluded by a closing ceremony where awards were handed to talented and devoted participants. Amongst the awarded delegates, there were five of our colleagues.
Congratulations to Piotr Jurga, Maks Łudziński and Wiktoria Nowak for the „Best Delegate” award, and to Alexandra Dorsey and Jan Kosiński for an „Honourable mention”!

One of our students, Gabrysia Schonthaler, attended KoMUN, a conference organized by a Kopernik High School in Warsaw. She also received an award for an outstanding speaker.
